What is JOI?

JOI stands for Junior Optimist Indians. We are a new club at MFHS that is an extension of the Optimist Club here in Menomonee Falls. We focus on community service through student-led projects and creating opportunities to build on teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Falls Fest Dunk Tank

  • Ben Franklin Tutoring

  • JOI of Reading

  • Super Bowl of Caring

  • Optimist Club Dodgeball Tournament

  • Chili Dinner Bake Sale

 

What is required to be a JOI Member

  • Energy

  • Enthusiasm

  • The willingness to make a difference in the Menomonee Falls community

 

When Do We Meet?

  • We meet every week or every other week during the school year. Board members meet about once a month over the summer

  • Meetings are usually Thursdays, but this year we may do Thursday along with alternating days
